ABOUT DR. JACOBSON

Twenty-five years of caring for Westchester families.

A physician who knows
your whole story.

Dr. William V. Jacobson has been in private practice for 25 years, caring for families throughout White Plains and the surrounding Westchester communities. In that time he has looked after newlyweds who later brought in their children, and children who grew up to bring in parents of their own. That continuity is the part of medicine he values most: knowing not just a chart, but a life.

Trained in family medicine, Dr. Jacobson cares for the whole person — routine wellness and prevention, chronic conditions managed patiently over years, and the unexpected worries that arrive without warning. He believes the best medical decisions come out of conversation, so he listens first, explains plainly, and makes sure patients leave understanding both what is happening and what happens next.

Moving to a concierge model was a way to protect that approach. With a deliberately smaller practice, Dr. Jacobson can offer longer visits, answer the phone himself, and coordinate closely with specialists when more help is needed — the kind of attentive, personal care he would want for his own family.

Outside the Office

Family, and a few thousand bees.

Time with family

Away from the office, Dr. Jacobson prioritizes time with his family above all else. It is also why he understands what patients mean when they say they are worried about a parent, a spouse, or a child — those relationships shape how he practices.

A beekeeper, too

Dr. Jacobson is a beekeeper — you may have noticed the honeybee tucked into the practice logo. Beekeeping rewards patience, steady attention, and care for something that thrives only when it is well tended. It is a fitting emblem for the way he looks after his patients.
